The patent for denim jeans with a rivet was filed in 1873, and synthetic indigo was developed for commercial use in 1879. It is not widely known that during this period, natural indigo was mainstream.
Work pants are worn every day, and here lies the meaning for using natural indigo. Being workers themselves, those who work with natural indigo wanted to find ways to cut costs, and this is how denim weaving organizations were created.
We create these jeans hoping to recreate jeans from those times.

It was a time when individual manufacturers were coming up with plans to compete with jeans with rivets, and women were manufacturing them in their homes.
*100 Limited edition jeans, each with a serial number.
*Please note that each pair of jeans are sewn after we receive an order, so we may need about 3 months until they are completed.
*The size of the jeans are made one to two sizes smaller than regular jeans. Please put this into consideration when choosing your size.
*As a company policy, jeans are available for fitting only in the BUAISOU workshop. There may be circumstances where we are unable to provide a sample to try on, so we ask that you contact us beforehand by email if you wish to visit us.

Each piece is individually handmade and indigo-dyed.
As a result, natural variations in color, texture, and pattern are to be expected.
Please note that the appearance may differ slightly from what you see on your screen due to individual characteristics and monitor settings.
These variations are not imperfections, but part of the unique character and depth inherent to natural dyeing—something fundamentally different from printed or synthetic-dyed products.
