In the contents of the exhibition “Indigo Dyeing Anatomy Exhibition: The work of BUAISOU.”
*The show was held from December 27, 2021, to February 21, 2022, at the Design Gallery 1953, 7th floor, Matsuya Ginza, Tokyo.
This volume highlights a single indigo-dyed poster that was categorized into 16 categories, such as “color,” “texture,“ and “graphics,” through the method of dissection.
Graphic designer Taku Satoh was in charge of art direction, and Akino Tagami of TSDO was in charge of graphic design.
The cover is made of Japanese washi paper mixed with odds and ends indigo-dyed fabric from the production process at the BUAISOU studio.
